Nayan talks about her marriage

Nayantara had been avoiding interviews with the print media for the past few months, more so after the media painted the town red with reports of her alleged ‘affair’ with choreographer-turned-actor-turned-director Prabhudeva and the reaction of Ramalat, the famed dancer’s wife to the alleged affair of her husband with the actress.

Nayantara came out of her rigidity recently when some of her well-wishers arranged for her interview with a leading vernacular daily a few days back. Nayan reportedly agreed for the telephonic interview with the pre-condition that no questions should be addressed to her about Prabhudeva and his wife Ramalat.

The telephonic interview was proceeding very smoothly with Nayan at her courteous best in answering all the queries until the topic of Prabhudeva came up. Nayan said ‘No Comments’ and went on to reveal that her marriage, as and when it is held, would take place only with the consent of her parents and that she would only be marrying a groom of her parents’ choice!

Nayantara News : Nayantara to act in her first Kannada film

Bangalore, Jan 19 (IANS) Bewitching beauty Nayantara is all set to act in her first Kannada film shortly. She will act in a yet untitled film which will be directed by Upendra and produced by Rockline Venkatesh.

Both Upendra and Rockline Venkatesh felt that Nayantara would be appropriate to do a lead role in this film. The movie will be made in three languages - Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

Incidentally Nayantara is now working only in a few Telugu films and is all set to sign some new Tamil films shortly. Her Telugu film 'Simha' in which she is paired with Balakrishna is now being shot in Hyderabad.

Upendra said that he did try to select his cast only after he had finished writing the script of the film.

'Nayantara perfectly fits into the role. I took nearly one year writing the script of the film. I am very happy about the way the script has shaped up. I am sure that the audience will find many novelties in the film. It would provide a different experience for the viewers. I am now focused on selecting other artists for the film. The audition work is already over. I will announce the list of artists on the day the film will be launched,' Upendra told IANS.

Upendra has hired Johny Lal as the cameraman of the film. V. Manohar who provided music for Upendra's first directorial venture 'Tarle Nan Maga' has been chosen to do the music direction of the film.
