Nayanthara is looking like an aged woman:
Nayanthara, the glam queen of south Indian film industry had her latest release as “Aadhavan” in Tamil and ‘Ghatikudu’ in Telugu. Her fans a bit surprised to see the glam doll like an middle aged woman in the movie ” Aadhavan”.
Although her character was that of a young girl, the kind of make up and the looks she had were looking like that of an aged woman. the over close up shots of Nayanthara made the actress loosed so and so her fans were disappointed to see her like a middle aged woman.
Moreover, it is better if she gets rid of the ring and focuses on her looks. Her over facial workouts on her face are making the lady look dull without any gleam on her face.
It is better if Nayan opts for a makeover and looks like a young girl by putting up a little bit of weight and flab on her cheeks.

Make sure, if you’re watching K.S. Ravikumar’s film and don’t give in rooms for any rationality. The filmmaker never cares about logics and makes sure his hero is portrayed in larger than life roles. ‘Aadhavan’ doesn’t boast of anything exceptional in terms of storyline. Remember Rajnikanth’s ‘Thai Veedu’ –where the protagonist is misused by baddies to harm his own family members. Well, if you’re an ardent buff of Tollywood, one can find the traces of ‘Nandhavanam 120Kms’. Indeed, the guy over here has a long term memory loss after triggering bullets into his father’s chest while Surya doesn’t go through this problem.
Let’s start off with the film’s synopsis…
Aadhavan (Surya), a sharp shooter has never missed his target until now. But when he is assigned by Dr. Reddy (Rahul Dev) to bump off a magistrate Subramaniam (Late Actor Murali), ready to unveil the list of culprits involved in organ-racketeering of poor children. Unfortunately, Aadhavan misses his target on magistrate and now hatches plans to get into his house to accomplish this task. But every time, he concocts a fantastic plan to kill the magistrate, he’s fails terribly with it.
Does Aadhavan succeed with this mission or not forms crux of the story with a sudden twist in climax.
Surya plays his part well as directed by Ravikumar. But his dancing style remains the same in all the songs. As well the stunt sequences in assassination drama remind us of ‘Ayan’. In some comedy sequences, it’s more evident that Surya imitates Vijay. But it’s Vadivelu stealing the show with his fabulous comedy tracks. Indeed, he offers more substantiality to the film with best humour quotients. Nayanthara has nothing to perform and looks aged. Saroja Devi does justice to the role. Rahul Dev sleepwalks through his role and so does Shayaji Shinde. Late actor Murali excels with his usually seen overpowering performance.
Musical score by Harris Jayaraj fails to live up to expectations. Barring the title song and the final one ‘Hasiliye’, none of the songs seems to be enjoyable. The backgrounds score could’ve been yet better. Cinematography is exquisitely done while Don Max’s editing is sleek and stylish.
The first hour moves around with action, fun ‘n’ frolic while the latter part keeps dragging. Ramesh Khanna could’ve penned a yet more powerful story and the screenplay stumbles down halfway post-intermission.
‘Aadhavan’ is completely disappointing for those audiences who expected a lot from Surya. It’s a film not worth watching. But then, if you’ve already booked your tickets, make sure that you don’t get annoyed with dragging screenplay and insubstantial story.
Will Nayanthara stop the success of ‘Aadhavan’?
This has been the most often question amongst the masses. Tamil film industry is much different from other regional ones. Know what? If Mumbaikars do watch the film for entertainment, our people are so adhered to the film stars and directors as they perceive them to be like their own family.
But when the same personalities are found to be involved in some ludicrous deeds, the masses would turn down and stop encouraging them.
Likely, Surya’s ‘Aadhavan’ seems to be drenched is similar problems as Nayanthara has paired up with him. The actress has involved in an affair with Prabhu Deva and this has really dropped down their likeliness on her.
Let’s wait and watch the results of ‘Aadhavan’. Even if the film goes with triumph at box office, Nayanthara will have no part in it.
Surya credits Nayanthara with a professional tag:
Actor Surya who is hitting the silver screen on this coming diwali with his latest movie “Aadhavan” has given his opinion on his co-star Nayanthara. He praised her that she is a professional star and stays in her limits with everyone.
Surya praised Nayan that she is on time and is ready when ever the director calls her on to the scene. He also reveals that Nayanthara is very humorous in nature and cracks jokes in order to make her surroundings filled with a happy atmosphere.
Surya however did not respond to the question about Nayan’s love affair with Prabhu deva and commented that it was her personnel life and he does not interfere in it.

Nayantara is desperate to tie Rakhi to actor Dileep:
Actor Dileep faced an embarrassing situation on the sets of a movie when actress Nayantara came to the shooting spot with a rakhi in her hand. According to the media, Nayan is said to be in love with actor Dileep. After the traumatic controversy about Nayan’s love affair with choreographer turned actor Prabhu Deva, now she was freshly linked with her co-star Dileep.
In order to prove it wrong, Nayan was desperate to tie the Rakhi bond to the young actor in order to prove the media as wrong. But unfortunately, the situation turned into a embarrassing issue to actor Dileep as Nayantara was said to be running behind him in order to tie the bond.
It is reported that Dileep ran away from the sets and was hiding from the beautiful lady in order to prevent himself from being banded as a Rakhi Brother by Nayantara.
Nayantara refuses a Kannada movie offer:
Nayantara, the south Indian beauty has established her place in Malluwood, Kollywood and Tollywood. Now, she was eyeing her place on sandalwood and was open to offers.
Recently, she was offered a female lead role in the movie titled as “Swarnanjali” which was being directed by Srinivas. The story narration session and also the remuneration part was discussed and finalized by the director and the actress was sure to work in the film for a pay of Rs 15 lacs. But as the director demanded for dates in between September and October, Nayan could do so. Her calendar till this end of the year is full and could not accommodate anyone.
For this reason Nayan has been dropped from the movie and actress Rashmi of DUNIYA fame has been roped into this project. But she will act in this movie for a price of just 5 lacs.
So, the sandalwood crowds must wait for some more time in order to see the beauty assets of Nayantara-the glam doll.
Nayan gives a tight reply to Trisha’s bollywood entry:
Trisha the petite beauty of south Indian film industry is all set to take on bollywood soon. After her bollywood entry, all eyes were on Nayantara as she was supposed to follow Trisha. But the glam doll has disclosed that she has got the offer long before that Trisha and the offer was from director Anees Bazmee who even offered a 1 crore package.
But Nayan openly disclosed that she has no interest in working in bollywood presently and Anees offered a role opposite to Actor Akshay Kumar which was a meaty one.
But as she was disinterested in the working in Hindi films she opted out of the movie .Nayan feels that bollywood entry will make the actress pale and dry for the south India films and so has opted out.

The audio of Udayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies Aadhavan will be launched in style at 6.30 PM on Wednesday August 19, at the big screen at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai.
The audio is being released by director Shankar will be received by Tamil Film Producers Council chief Ramanarayanan in the presence of chief guest Malayalam super star Mohanlal.
The film features Suriya and Nayanthara in the lead and is directed by K.S Ravikumar, with music by Harris Jayaraj.

Aadhavan is a forthcoming Tamil movie directed by famous director K S Ravikumar starring Surya Sivakumar and Nayantara.
The movie will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, grandson of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, under the banner Red Giant movies who produced Vijay's Kuruvi.
The film will be co produced by M. Senbhaga Murthy and R. Arjun Dorai. The cinematography is by Ganesh and the Art Direction is by Rajeevan.

Movie synopsis : Actress Saroja Devi plays the role of a rich woman
who owns big mansion and has four sons. Nayantara is the daughter of the oldest son. Surya joins as a servant in their house, who wants to take revenge on the family members and the story takes a different turn, when Surya happens to fall in love with Nayantara. Vadivelu gives life to the comedy track, playing the cook role in 'Saroja Devi's mansion.
Music is scored by 'Harris Jeyaraj' for 'Aadhavan' movie and it has six tracks. Harris Jeyaraj has given good music scores for 'Vaarnam Aayiram' & 'Ayan' earlier.

Surya and Nayantara in Iceland for Aadhavan Movie:
The lead pair of Surya and Nayantara along with the unit of Aadhavan has taken off to Iceland, a new location for Tamil cinema.
Film makers are always on the lookout for virgin landscapes to shoot songs for their big budget extravaganzas.
K.S.Ravikumar, the director of Aadhavan, one of the hottest films in the trade will be shooting a song choreographed by Dinesh and a part of the climax there.
Iceland is a North Atlantic island in Europe. With this, the film will be almost complete as producer Udayanidhi Stalin plans to release the film big for Diwali 2009.
Nayanthara hopes for best from AADHAVAN:
Nayanthara who featured opposite to big stars in Kollywood was declared a flop as her movies flopped one by one. Now, the pretty babe is busy with her Telugu film commitments and is doing a Tamil film titled as AADHAVAN.
The movie has actor Surya Sivakumar in the lead and is being directed by DASAVATRAM fame KS Ravi KUMAR. Already the movie is almost 75% complete and is being filmed in Kodaikanal. A song is being filmed from the past 5 days and will be heading to a foreign location by the end of this month.
The movie is likely to hit the silver screens on August 15th, 2009 and Nayan is hoping the best from this film. She feels that this movie will bring her the required value in the Tamil industry and will shrug off the flop tag from her film career.
‘Aadhavan’ to release before ‘Jaggubhai’:
You’ve got to believe this… K.S. Ravikumar has been one such filmmaker who completes his projects within record time. Be it superstars or newcomers: he doesn’t compromise with any hurdles that come along the way of filming schedules. He has directed almost all leading actors Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Sarath Kumar and others.
His magnum opus with Kamal Haasan ‘Dasavatharam’ was the biggest hit of 2008. Within three months of time after this film’s release, he had completed shooting for Sarath Kumar starrer ‘Jaggubhai’. The film features Shriya Charan in female lead role with Surya enacting a cameo part. Later, he kick-started his next project ‘Aadhavan’ starring Surya and Nayanthara in lead roles.
Some of his closer sources have confirmed that Ravikumar is planning to release ‘Aadhavan’ prior to ‘Jaggubhai’. Well, there isn’t any valid reasoning for the delay of ‘Jaggubhai’ as the film’s post production work is still pending.
Aadhavan audio release postponed?
The shooting of Suriya's Aadhavan is progressing at a hectic pace. The film is directed by K.S. Ravikumar and music is composed by Harris Jayaraj. The audio release was supposed to take take place on August 15th in Chennai, but it may be postponed. Why the delay, we ask? The main reason is that the Aadhavan team is busy shooting in South Africa and has not returned to Chennai yet. Only after the unit's return will a decision be taken by the makers.
The film has Suriya, Nayantara, Murali (Malayalam actor), Rahul Dev, Vadivelu, Pepsi Vijayan, Ramesh Khanna, Sayaji Shinde, Anand Babu and Manobala.
The story is by N.S. Ramesh Khanna. Cinematography is by Ra. Ganesh, the art director is Rajeevan, editing is by Don Max, stunts are by Kanal Kannan and the film is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin under the Red Giant Movies Banner. The film's music will be released under Think Music label.
