Boss Engira Baskaran comedy film


Guess who would tickle the funny bone of the audience in ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’? She is Nayantara, who is doing a comical role in the company of Arya and Santhanam for the film directed by Rajesh of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ fame.

If sources are to be believed, Nayantara, the heroine of the film, is playing a bubbly girl who has immense humour sense. “This is for the first time the actress is doing such a role. She would sure bring the roofs down with her performance,” they maintain.

On the storyline, they say, “the movie is about Arya, who lives in a joint family. The attempts he make to woo Nayantara and the problems he face before joining hands with her is the crux. It is a feel-good film quite like ‘SMS’.”

Plans are to complete the shoot by the end of February. “Rajesh, who firmly believes that post production works add solid strength to a movie, would take around two months for it. So you can expect ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ by May or June,” sources add.

After delivering a finely exquisite flick ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’, director Rajesh is back in business with ‘Boss Enginra Bhaskaran’. This comedy entertainer will feature Aarya and Nayanthara in lead roles, while Santhanam will take care of comedy tracks.

Followed by the grand success of ‘Naan Kadavul’, Vasans Visual Ventures is producing this film and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music.

The film will launched tomorrow (Nov 19) morning at AVM Studios between 9.15 and 10.15 in the morning. Tamil Film Producers Council Rama Narayanan along with council members, Abirami Ramanathan, Pyramid Saimira PS Swaminathan, music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and other crewmembers will grace over the occasion.



Aarya Nayanthara Together In Comedy Film Boss Engira Baskaran

After playing a series of serious roles, Arya is here to provide some comical relief. The actor will play the protagonist in a film titled ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’, directed by Rajesh of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ fame.

Interestingly, the movie will be produced by Srinivasan for Vasan Visual Venture, who had produced the actor’s ‘Naan Kadavul’. Nayantara will be the love interest of Arya in ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’.

Says Rajesh, “Quite like ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’, ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ too will be a movie laced with humour. Besides, the film will also have romance and other necessary ingredients to woo the audience.”

It may be recalled that Arya played a cameo in ‘SMS’. For ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’, the musical score will be by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan. The project will go on floors soon.Aarya, Nayanthara were earlier reported to have paired up for a Malayalam movie that is still remaining in pipeline. But the latest we hear is that the duo has teamed up for an untitled Tamil film directed by ‘SMS’ fame Rajesh.

The filmmaker is very much known for his knack on making mirthful entertainer, which was illustrious with ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’. According to the sources, Vasan Visual Venture (producer of ‘Naan Kadavul’) has agreed to produce this comedy entertainer.

It’s worth mentioning that Aarya has been the favorite actor of this production house and as well for Rajesh. He had enacted a guest role in ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’.

Official confirmations about this project are yet to be made with detailed list of star-casts. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music for this film and same set of technicians of SMS are expected to work.
